Teachers are encouraged to convey required material in constructive and innovative ways in order to both challenge and engage students holistically in the learning process. During a recent faculty survey, 100% of our teachers answered that they either Agreed or Strongly Agreed with the statement that their position at the school was, “challenging and meaningful’ and 94% of respondents agreed that they were able to “provide input regarding the content of (their) job”. Concordia International School Shanghai is a mission driven, not-for-profit school located in a suburban, “green” neighborhood of the Pudong area in Shanghai. Concordia is regularly acknowledged for a thriving community informed by the school's Christian values. The majority of our community—more than 60% of students and all of the overseas-hired staff live within one kilometer of the school. The result is that the campus serves as a hub for students, teachers and families within the context of one of the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing cities. Company History
Concordia International School Shanghai was started in 1998 to enrich the lives of students by challenging them to reach their highest potential in all aspects of life, Concordia provides the Shanghai expatriate community with a holistic, American-based, college-preparatory education for students from pre-K through grade 12.
